Webinar about the Patrologia Orientalis Database

We are pleased to inform you that a webinar about the Patrologia Orientalis Database will be organized on Tuesday March, 8th at 11am EST / 5pm CET.

The Patrologia Orientalis Database (POD) is the Online version of the famous collection of patristic texts from the Christian East, including works, recorded in non-Latin languages, that come from geographical, cultural, or religious contexts somehow linked to Rome or the Eastern Roman Empire.

Practical arrangements:

  • When? On Tuesday March, 8th at 11am EST/ 5pm CET
  • Duration: about 15 minutes
  • Where and how? If you want to participate, please fill in the above form by Monday March 7th 5pm EST
    We will send you a booking confirmation by email and a link to join the presentation (Microsoft Teams Meeting)
    You only need a computer with an internet connection, so that we can share our presentation with you on your screen (no need to switch on your own camera or to install a software)
  • Who? Library personnel, Scholars and Students are Welcome
  • Content: An introductory presentation of the Patrologia Orientalis. After the presentation you will have time to ask questions
  • We will send the powerpoint slides after the presentation

Sources Chrétiennes Online : first 200 volumes available

Sources Chrétiennes Online (SCO) is the digital and searchable counterpart to the long-running edition project of the Institut des Sources Chrétiennes (Lyon), published by Les Éditions du Cerf (Paris). This first release contains 200 (titles list) of the project’s Latin and Greek source texts and French translations. The total number of editions in the printed volumes exceed 600, which will all be incorporated into the SCO database by 2025.

Workshop Digital Patristics @ Oxford Patristics Conference

We are glad to invite you to take part to our workshop about Digital Patristics that will be given during the Oxford Conference.

The workshop will be organised on Wednesday 21 August from 2.00 to 4.00 pm (Room 12).

The covered topics will include the Clavis clavium, the Sources Chrétiennes Online and the Répertoire des traductions des Pères de l’Eglise.

We also would like to invite you to the reception celebrating the publication of the 600th  volume in the Sources Chrétiennes Series (your invitation).

The reception will be held at the Brepols publishers stand on Thursday 22 August 6.30-8 pm.
