On the occasion of the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla, we created two new BBIH online reading lists focusing on the history of monarchy and coronations in Britain and Ireland, the first one covering the period up to 1485 (Medieval monarchy – 375 publications), and the second one from 1485 to the present day (Monarchy, Tudor to Windsor – 606 publications).

We are pleased to announce that a presentation and a round table about Brepols Medieval Databases (incl. the International Medieval Bibliography, the Lexikon des Mittelalters, the Library of Latin Texts, the Monumenta Germaniae Historica, and Papal Letters) will be organized at the Catholic University of Lublin on 25 April 2023.

6,292 records were added to the Index Religiosus. At the moment (january 2023), the database contains over 667,800 article and book records as well as 160,800 book review references.
L’Année Philologique has been updated. 3,980 records were added to the database.
One of the interesting features of L’Année Philologique is the live links to the biographies of Greek and Roman Philosophers in the Dictionnaire des Philosophes Antiques (DPhA).
The Bibliography of British and Irish History (BBIH) has been updated.
3,154 records were added to the bibliography.

We are pleased to inform you that a webinar about the International Bibliography of Humanism and the Renaissance (IBHR) will be organized on Wednesday February, 16th at 11am EST / 5pm CET.
The IBHR has a wide and ambitious scope. The core of the Bibliography focuses on European history and culture that spans the 16th and 17th centuries, and encompasses a broad spectrum of subjects, ranging from religious history through to philosophy, science and the arts; and from military and political history through to social and gender studies.

The International Medieval Bibliography (IMB), the Bibliography of Medieval Civilisation (BCM) and the International Bibliography of Humanism and the Renaissance (IBHR) have been updated. In the subject analyzer, you can now display the ‘Book Series Top 50′ and the Publisher Top 50’ on a specific topic. The new tool can help authors to discover the most suitable book series and publishers for their forthcoming publications.
