Recording of the Webinar: ‘Getting started with the new interface of IMB, IBHR & BCM’

We are excited to present the recording of our webinar titled “Getting Started,” where we introduced the new interface for three of our online bibliographies: the International Bibliography of Humanism and the Renaissance (IBHR), the International Medieval Bibliography (IMB), and the Bibliographie de Civilisation Médiévale (BCM).

Webinar on L’Année Philologique (APh)

Join Mackenzie “Mack” Zalin (Librarian for Classics at Johns Hopkins University and Chair of the Advisory Board of the American Office of L’Année philologique to the Society for Classical Studies) and Chris VandenBorre (Project Manager, Brepols) for an overview of recent innovations in L’Année philologique (APh), a full-scope bibliographic database for scholars of classical studies.
Topics will include APh’s new interface and the pilot project launched in 2023 by the American Office to index and abstract works on classical reception. Time permitting, a Q&A will follow.

We are pleased to inform you that a webinar about the Patrologia Orientalis Database will be organized on Tuesday March, 8th at 11am EST / 5pm CET.

The Patrologia Orientalis Database (POD) is the Online version of the famous collection of patristic texts from the Christian East, including works, recorded in non-Latin languages, that come from geographical, cultural, or religious contexts somehow linked to Rome or the Eastern Roman Empire.

Webinar about the International Bibliography of Humanism and the Renaissance

We are pleased to inform you that a webinar about the International Bibliography of Humanism and the Renaissance (IBHR) will be organized on Wednesday February, 16th at 11am EST / 5pm CET.

The IBHR has a wide and ambitious scope. The core of the Bibliography focuses on European history and culture that spans the 16th and 17th centuries, and encompasses a broad spectrum of subjects, ranging from religious history through to philosophy, science and the arts; and from military and political history through to social and gender studies.

Webinaire Database of Latin Dictionaries

Nous avons le plaisir de vous annoncer qu’un webinaire sur la Database of Latin Dictionaries (DLD) sera organisé ce 9 février à 11h du matin.

La Database of Latin Dictionaries constitue une base de données comprenant un grand nombre de dictionnaires latins mis en ligne au bénéfice des chercheurs et des étudiants. Cette base de données est progressivement amplifiée et elle comprend différents types de dictionnaires: dictionnaires bilingues ou plurilingues qui proposent les traductions des mots latins dans les langues vernaculaires, dictionnaires de recherche de haut niveau, dictionnaires historiques.

Ce mercredi 9 février à 11 h, nous donnerons une courte présentation en ligne de cette base de données en français.

Cette présentation est destinée aux bibliothécaires, aux chercheurs et aux étudiants.
